Summary/Abstract: The majority of significant Polish papers concerning the tourist regionalization of Poland are conceptually connected with tradition of physical geography, which focuses on the features of landscape. Thus the tourist flow is treated as a less important factor, whereas the qualities and attractions of the geographical environment are appreciated. This reason makes the functional and space-time analyses difficult. Therefore the authors made this paper which touches the problem of tourist regionalization of Poland based on statistics of tourist movement and tourist infrastructure. 21 regions were specified. The most important are: coastal region, Carpathian, Sudetian and four lakeland regions.
