Summary/Abstract: The article is based on research results from the project ‘Celebrities in the Polish media and social space. Interdisciplinary study’. The author focuses on celebrity mothers and „performative parenting” (broadcasting every aspect of parenting experiences such as pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood on social media). It also indicates how celebrities are represented as mothers in and by the popular media.
