Summary/Abstract: The legal order is composed not only of legal norms but also of values. An axiological aspect of law becomes important especially in the acts of law interpretation and application. By reconstructing values a legislator presumes there is a possibility to reconstruct his complete axiological system. This system contains three types of values: legally binding values inbuilt in legal norms (especially in principles), reference values (this kind of values must be applied by courts in accordance with reference provisions) and universal values.
