Summary/Abstract: This article is a scientific attempt to look at the problems of marriage and the family not only through reflection of theoretical nature, but also in the context of conducted student research. The first part of the article contains the theoretical foundations of empirical research by showing a rich perspective of scientific theories and concepts regarding the current condition and scientific understanding of such institutions as marriage and family. For the needs of this work, a systemic model of marriage and family was adopted. The family is an example of a natural system in the aspect of interpersonal relations (individual and social). The second part of the article is an analysis and interpretation of the obtained research results in terms of quantity and quality. The analysis is exploratory in nature based on the answers obtained to the questions contained in the research tool, which was the survey. Then the article contains an extensive summary and specific conclusions. The thesis is not only a compendium of some knowledge obtained in research, but also an ordered scientific concept. At the same time, the article has a pragmatic value because it can serve as an important, specific material for researchers of marriage and family issues, for students of various fields of study and for spouses, parents who are personally interested in these issues.
