Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the relationship between anthropology and philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and Phelix Guattari. It aims to show the ways in which anthropology influenced work of these authors with special emphasis on theories and concepts Deleuze and Guattari adopted from Gregory Bateson. These concepts include those of double bind, rhizome and plateau of intensity.
