Summary/Abstract: The text describes the reasons for the initiation of the Feminist Festival, the first of the kind in Croatia, and the key subjects that it dealt with. According to the author, the current situation in feminism calls for a redefining of its own position, whereby the author stands for a striving towards activism, but of a sort that doesn't run away from theory. One of the basic problems she sees in the situation that, while in Croatian universities feminism is already being taught well enough as a theoretical discipline, she detects a lack of further action in the society, based on theoretical insights and findings.
