Summary/Abstract: Challenges generated by the security environment characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, governed by extensive technological changes and by polarizing tendencies across all the society levels, as well as standardization and interoperability requirements emerging from Romania’s membership to NATO, EU and other international bodies constantly inflict the need for transformation, adjustment and optimization of the defense intelligence field according to the new requisites and performance criteria aiming at reaching the highest standards and professional competences for the personnel operating in the intelligence sphere.
