Summary/Abstract: In this study it is aimed to compare the general beliefs towards predicting gender of unborn babies. Comparison includes Black sea Region in Turkish culture and German Culture. Culture, which is defined as the life styles of various communities, both comes out as different way of perception, feeling, thinking, language, technology, art, economy, science and philosophy, and as a crucial sample for constituting universal line when the same patterns encountered in two different communities’ resources. Through the study, several common beliefs and implementations towards predicting gender are encountered.
