Summary/Abstract: The General Counsel’s Office of the Republic of Poland came into existence by a decree of the Chief of State on 7th February, 1919. On July 31, 1919, the Parliament revoked the decree of the Chief of State and passed the appropriate bill. The General Counsel’s Office of the Republic of Poland protected the public and property interests of the Treasury and the Polish State Railways. The judicial replacement and legal opinion were provided in such matters as the interpretation of the law, the property, obligations and the protection of the public and property interests of Polish railways.
