The revolutionary movement of 1821 established a new social order and brought to light a new category of military, not with a predominantly leading role, but rather with an educational one, – the Pandours. The Revolution of Tudor Vladimirescu’s pandours raised the peasant social movements to a higher level, marking the beginning of the modern era in the history of our country. The article aims to bring a tribute to “Voivode Tudor” and a pandour captain named Ghiță Danielescu.
