Summary/Abstract: This article reviews Norbert Bączyk and Grzegorz Jasinski’s book about the Germans’ use of experimental weapons in street fighting against the Warsaw Uprising . Various types of weapons designed for urban combat (Goliath, Taifun, Borgward, rocket launchers, heavy mortars, rail guns), the tactics of their use, and problems related to lo-gistics, conflicts of competence, and the weakening morale of the German soldiers are discussed . Technical means of warfare, despite their limited effectiveness, did not ensure a quick and easy victory for the Germans .
