Globalization, a key word of the 1990s, redefines the concepts of “regional” and “local” in relation to ethnicity and primordialism, the evolution of these terms until the beginning of the 21st century. The three chapters – Literature, Language, Cultural Studies and History of Mentalities – discuss, from heterogeneous perspectives, the interferences at various levels.
