A semantic image of Poland, a Pole and polishness in the right-wing discourse

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns a discursive construction of the meaning of words like Poland, a Pole and Polishness by the right-wing circles. A semantic image of the very words is reconstructed basing on cognitive semantics and categories of cultural linguistics such as a linguistic image of the world, subjectivity, the point of view, and profiling. The auhtor also analyses socio-cultural factors determining particular semantic profiles.
