Summary/Abstract: The author, a former brilliant student of the Military High School „N. Filipescu” from „Dealu” Monastery, in Târgovişte, depicts the personality of the great patriot and politician, Nicolae Filipescu, a supporter of the Romanian nationalism and of the national unification, the one who founded and built, according to European patterns, the military school from Dealu. The author also briefly describes the educational activities and makes a praiseful presentation of the military and civil staff, whose training resulted in many valuable men, of a confirmed moral integrity.
