Summary/Abstract: Professor Ioan Ică was a resonant name in the theological education of Cluj. His zeal for study is well known, his studies of orthodox and, later, protestant theology were crowned with a doctorate in Bucharest. His passion and verve in approaching especially dogmatic theology topics or any other topics are well known. The atmosphere he triggered in class or at the various events he attended was exhilarating. He was passionate about reading, especially theological readings, and he also encouraged students to read.
