Construction and practical using of spree estimators for two-dimensional contingency tables

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is to demonstrate the potential of the SPREE estimation based on iterative proportional fiting for two-dimensional contingency table. This technique is used to adjust values in the cells of an estimated contingency table to the totals obtained by means of the survey sampling. In the article some practical aspects of using IPF and SPREE estimation in the context of two-dimensional contingency table were also shown.
