Summary/Abstract: Bankruptcy prediction models are useful tools for the evaluation of the econom-ic situation of the business environment in a country. Business theory and practice formulat-ed various types of bankruptcy prediction. The aim of the paper is the presentation of ap-plicability of multisectoral analysis of latent transitions in bankruptcy prediction models for Polish enterprises which belong to processing industry sector of the economy. Latent transi-tions modelling is based on the data included in financial ratios for years 2007 (before eco-nomic crisis) and 2009 (in time of crisis). It allows to compare bankruptcy risk in different economic environment.
