Summary/Abstract: The media outlets in Poland should be owned by Poles – claims the ruling party, Law and Justice. However, no concrete, verifiable justification of this project has ever been presented. An analysis does not confirm the existence of any systemic correlation between foreign or domestic ownership of a medium and its editorial line. If „repolonisation” is carried out, it might have dire consequences for freedom of speech.
