Summary/Abstract: The National Library of Romania ensures the creation, processing, preservation, conservation, management and national documentary heritage. By its very valuable collections, The National Library of Romania is part of the European cultural heritage, a true cultural and scientific treasure for future generations. Movable cultural heritage legislation and national legal framework defines the ideea of the legal deposit, consisting on referential writing for Romanian culture and civilization. The paper aims to present The Romanian National Library involvement in activities and establishment of national documentary heritage and exploit its communication through projects, products and services.
