Summary/Abstract: The present paper presents some feminine characters who, with their personality and bravery, stand for women emancipation. Therefore, are analyzed all the articles and studies from the XIXth century magazines in order to underline the Romanian women rights and requests.So, due to the published articles, we can see the needs of the Romanian women in times when the emancipation was just starting. In this fight for rights and equality with men, some independent voices were noted as representative to the Romanian feminism.
