Summary/Abstract: This paper presents and critically comments on the latest enclosure of the reception of Hegel’s philosophy built by the popular and influential Italian author of the younger generation Diego Fusaro. Based on a superficial reading of Hegel, this author, a self-proclaimed independent follower of Hegel and Marx, uses certain elements of Hegel’s philosophy in order to rhetorically support his ideological formation, lacking argumentative mediation between Hegel’s philosophy and Fusar’s ideology. This ideology is populist in nature, it’s marked by souverainism and nationalism, while its author profiles himself as one of the leading ideologues of the anti-globalist right.
