Summary/Abstract: The preserved correspondence of Franjo Ksaver Kuhač, recognised as the first Croatian musicologist, ethnomusicologist and music historian, is an abundant and valuable source which gives various evidence on important cultural, political and musical events and enables the reconstruction of the network of Kuhač’s contacts. The extremely rich network of Croatian and foreign personas consisted of prominent politicians, professors, artists and pillars of cultural life. This article will be directed towards the contacts who lived and worked and themes related to Bosna and Hercegovina.
