Summary/Abstract: The article presents the letters that Vladimir Ćopić sent to Isidor Kršnjavi from 1912 to 1923. The introductory part of the text provides an overview of the biographical data. The focus is on Ćopić’s affiliation with the "Young Croat" movement that Kršnjavi supported. It also appears that Ćopić, as a student, enjoyed the favour of the old Professor. The largest number of articles refers to Ćopić’s appearance from Russian captivity during the First World War. In them can be read his mood and they describe the reunions with pre-war collaborators who were also captured on various battlefields. The correspondence shows that not even Ćopić’s adherence to Bolshevism damaged his friendship with and respect for Kršnjavi.
