Summary/Abstract: The author presents the application of an electronic text corpus, particularly of NKJP for Polish, to the analysis of syntagmatic expressions, more commonly known as collocations. By querying a corpus, it is possible to obtain reliable data on the frequency of collocations, and to extract cognitively significant expressions.
