Summary/Abstract: The article analyses suffixed verbs deverbatives in the Catechism published by M. Petkevičius (CP). The derivatives of four categories of deverbative formation are testified in this source, i.e. derivatives of causative, iterative, resultative state and momentive meanings are found. Causative deverbatives make up the largest derivation category in the CP. The frequency of deverbative suffixes, features of base words and vowel change in derivatives are presented. Only isolated instances of apophony are found in the CP, the vowel change occurs only in part of derivative words and is of irregular character.
