The Heritage of Those Walking Before Us

Summary/Abstract: The author, president of the Minerva Cultural Association, associate professor of the Babeş-Bolyai University, presents the evolutions in preserving the cultural heritage and cultural archives through the activity of the Association. With a history of the Association that goes back to the interwar period, the Minerva Archive was conceived as a collection of media-related content, including visual and textual materials. The author presents the possibilities of research that such archives offer, including the digitalization of materials, and creating a database for future researchers of Transylvanian culture and press.
