Summary/Abstract: The life and work of Dr. Ismail Hadziahmetovic ended at the turn of XX and XXI centuries. The progress of science overshadows everything done by the older generation. However, the work of Dr. Hadziahmetovic and its predecessors, Tuzla’s reputable doctors and cultural workers - will long survive as icons and landmarks for citizens of Tuzla. This paper and the author pays homage to them, and joins the family and friends of Dr. Ismail Hadžiahmetović in marking the fifth anniversary of his death (20.12.2012.).
