Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present related issues with “hate speech” and its symbols in urban space. It is an attempt to illustrate the scale of the occurring phenomenon and the problems arising from it. An indication of socio-cultural factors that may affect the formation of such and not other behaviors in the cognitive process. Defining the motivators of the problem and its impact on the objective and subjective dimension of security, on examples directly related to urban space. The article also discusses restrictions related to freedom of expression in relation to national legislation. This article is also an attempt to identify solutions that can contribute to overcoming such anti-social behavior in urban environments.
