Summary/Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has not only introduced structural changes at the level of socio-economic and cultural relations, but also linguistic and communicational ones. Indeed, the changes introduced and the transformations initiated in the context of this global crisis have had a devastating effect on individuals as well as on human societies. Among the notable changes made in linguistic behavior, we have noticed the intensive use of social networks as a privileged space for expression and release at these very special moments. The nature of the messages exchanged, the linguistic tools used and the established modes of expression also suggest transformations and modifications in relation to words and language. In this article, we will focus on studying the changes introduced from messages disseminated on social networks. These said modifications are in fact only the reflection of a new process of semiotisation and of the development of linguistic creativity and of the Linguistic Imaginary in a dazzling manner.
