Summary/Abstract: This article is written about the American artist Alan Neider's exhibition in NV Gallery, located in Siroki Brijeg, BiH, during the month of Janury 2021. Furthermore, there is a description of Abstract Expresionism development after the World War II in the United States, as well as influence of Cubism and Dadaism art practices. The exhibition autor builds up his work on these pillars, by using the collage technique and composing his assemblage from Neo-Dadaism and from Robert Rasuchenberg. His art work are drift away from the classic art on canvas. His is composing his art in layers made of various materials and colors and he is removing borders between the painting and sculpture. The accent is on Neider's abstract collage dedicated to American artist Elisabeth Murray, created in 2019. In this and in his all other art work, Alain is referring to the consequences of capitalist consumerism and global ecological problems.
