Summary/Abstract: The right to family life is one of the most spectacular developments, especially towards the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. This study emphasizes the landmarks of this evolution, in terms of the scope of guarantees that are subsumed, with reference to the enshrinement in the Romanian Constitution of the right to family and family life and the interpretation of the Constitutional Court of Romania, to the crossroads of times and international, European, national regulations.
