Summary/Abstract: The article publishes and analyzes for the first time the materials obtained during the study of the Scythian secondary burials from barrows 1 and 2 of the “Plavni” (“Overflow”) group near Glinoe village, Slobodzeya region, on the left bank of the Lower Dniester. The mounds were built in the Early Bronze Age. Two Scythian burials were studied in mound 1. One of them (5th-4th centuries BC) had no grave goods, and the other one (second half of the 4th – 3rd century BC) contained only one glass bead. Three Scythian burials were found in mound 2. One of them, made in a pit, dates back to the first half of the 3rd century BC on the basis of a fibula. The second grave was a cenotaph in a catacomb built in the 3rd – 2nd centuries BC. The third burial, arranged in a pit, was almost completely robbed. It dates to the first half of the 3rd century BC on the basis of an iron frontlet (prometopidion) for a horse. The presence of Scythian graves of different times in the mounds of the “Plavni” group is not surprising, since they were secondary to the barrows located in the immediate vicinity of the Scythian settlement, which had functioned since the end of the 6th century BC until the middle of the 1st century BC.
