Summary/Abstract: Changes in communication have been fueled by the evolution of the internet as a platform for interaction as well as by other technological advancements. Thus, the aim of the present study is to analyze the media discourse used within different genres in the online context. The hypothesis I started from is that depending on the author’s assumptions regarding the audience, there will be differences at various levels between genres (such as the stylistic level, the microstructure and macrostructure levels, and the morphological and syntactical levels). The analysis conducted might help researchers gain new perspectives on the changes that are taking place in the field of communication in the media.
