Summary/Abstract: The article presents the initial results of the ,,Impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on single parents" project. It was determined, for example, that in terms of socioeconomic status, the decline in the material security of families was much more likely to affect single parents who worked prior to the pandemic as self-employed persons (compared to employees) as well as parents without a higher education, the working conditions of whom in terms of the stability of their employment contracts and flexibility of work were less favourable than those of university graduates.
