Summary/Abstract: The starting point for the paper is practical experience with the implementation of folk art and culture in art education, as well as specific options and methodological procedures for the visual materialization of the idea of transferring folk art to public places in the style of street art. The paper was created as part of solving the tasks of the project KEGA 002KU-4/2019 Embodied experience with the use of art action. In 2016, the Folk art project gradually began to emerge. For four years now, reactions to urban urbanization in the style of street art have been emerging in various variations with the use of urban space. The project is implemented as part of art exercises with students of the Department of Art Education in Ružomberok.
