Summary/Abstract: It is no coincidence that the title is a periphrasis of A. Schopenhauer's main work "The World as Will and Imagination" - a favorite philosophical book of the modern Bulgarian writer and playwright Petko Y. Todorov since 1901. The report analyzes one of his main texts, initially deeply obscured from personal, psychological motives - the dramatic epilogue "Scarecrow terrible bandit" (1905). Here the quiet will of the author is conducted by the rhythm of the folk song, extracting his ideas and memories from the native Elena Balkan, with its real and mythological topos and images. Very often Todorov calls his idylls and dramas "songs". In this "epilogue" the will to live and power is overcome and outlived in the name of eternal death-song (the song that remains after death).
