Summary/Abstract: The article presents aspects of labour law that can become relevant in insolvency procedures, along with arguments and solutions that could be useful to insolvency practitioners in their activity. We analyse measures aimed at protecting the employees of an insolvent employer, stated in Law no. 85/2014 and Law no. 200/2006, the termination of individual employment contracts under insolvency procedures, the obligation of the insolvency practitioner to issue documents proving employee seniority, as well as the obligation to terminate labour employment contracts and to notify authorities of such terminations.
