House building in the Volga River basin during the Great Patriotic war

Summary/Abstract: The activity of local and central government of the Volga River basin in determination of housing problems during the war period are researched in this article and also the condition of housing stock in the region and features of the building of current and capital repairs are considered here.The special attention is given to the problem of the restoration of disturbed housing of Stalingrad and to the activity of cherkasovski brigades, to the provision of flats of families of military personnel and war cripples.
