Summary/Abstract: Taking into consideration one of the most famous literary work, thepresent article traces the evolution of the main aporia of Eros, that of having tochoose between love and freedom. The main purpose of this study is toinvestigate the extent to which binding love opposes the desire for freedom.This is the tragic meaning attributed to an Eros that has become part of history.Without pretending to resort to the study of logic, the article aims to prove howEros manages to overcome its rigorous linearity and thus, faced with aporias, itis unable to think of solution.
