Summary/Abstract: Although border between Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia, the Danubearea currently appears as a specific area of socio-cultural interference. Migrationof population from one bank to another has contributed not only to tradedevelopment but also to intense cultural exchange as it testified by thelanguage, lifestyle, habits or traditions. In this regard, we focused on thecarolling tradition in an attempt to identify their characteristics in the borderregion of the Danube.
