Summary/Abstract: The presented text introduces an Ostrava University project which was created in response to needs from school practice – the needs of teachers who currently teach, or will teach a pupil with special educational needs, in their class in mainstream primary and secondary schools. Part of this article is focused on the arranged meetings in the area of language and communication impairments, and presents findings about the teachers’ preparedness to teach pupils with It also shows the main problematic areas in the case of primary school education of pupils with Developmental Dysphasia, including the main principles of work with pupils with developmental dysphasia that was the Focus of the meeting (and supported by the technical literature in this area)
