Summary/Abstract: Petre Andrei's sociological pedagogy is education policy-oriented and involved in the design of education reform. The analysis of public education is carried out at the level of the management structure of the education system and at the level of the organizational structure, which includes all levels of education. In Petre Andrei's conception, the University has two purposes: the formation of the student's spiritual personality and the preparation for a profession that requires higher education. The functional correlation between teacher and student maintains "an ethos of truth without which there is no science". The reformist ideas advocated by the scholar are reflected in the school legislation initiated during his time inministry office.
