While fascism and Mussolini enjoyed a high level of consensus and confidence in European chancelleries and in the public opinion of many countries, the Romanian philosopher is very lucid and ruthless in understanding Mussolini's opportunism, the ambiguous and cunning character of the ideology and political action of the fascist movement... In Europe, Petre Andrei's thought has not had and still does not have the resonance it deserves. It is only today that we are slowly beginning to rediscover it...
