Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the photographic family in Romanian origin - Marcolesco, whose representatives work in Bulgaria in the late nineteenth and early lotto of the twentieth century. The brothers from Tulcea Ion and Honorius (Honorio) are the first generation of photocolumns of this family. Ion Marcolesco shot briefly in Gabrovo and then followed he lost while Honorius enjoyed a long and successful career - first in Tarnovo (1878–1902), and then in Varna (1903–1917). The next generation of photographers in the family are the daughters of Honorius Marcolesco - Jeanne and Charlotte, who work respectively in Sliven and Sofia. The text traces the activities of the representatives of the Marcolesco family in the country through their photographs stored in photographic the Count's Collection at the Bulgarian Historical Archive of the National Library St. St. Cyril and Methodius in Sofia.
