Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the topic of the autobiographical, in which some artists include their religious, political and social commentaries, emphasizing self-reflection and criticizing the notion of personal and public space. The autobiography of Adelina Popnedeleva, Lyudmil Lazarov and Krassimir Krastev - RASSIM is far beyond the concept of self-portrait. They use the autobiographical technique as a means of self-presentation, self-expression and search for one's own identity. Adelina Popnedeleva examines the conventional conception of woman and its opposition through metaphorical means. Lyudmil Lazarov parodies the traditional ideas in the history of art. RASSIM's work raises questions about self-exposure, staging, constructing one's own image. In the text, each author is presented with three works that are decisive for his work, but have not yet been thoroughly analyzed.
