Summary/Abstract: The marriage cases represent nowadays the main part of the judiciary cases held by Ecclesial Courts. Despite the place apparently reduced that the matrimonial cases occupy in the bulk of canonical regulations of procedural law, it is very often that for them and by them the major part of the legislation was conceived. In this legal environment, the Apostolic Letters Motu Proprio from the Supreme Pontif Francisc I Mitis Iudex Dominus Iesus and Mitis et Misericors Iesus, enacted in the same day, has reformed the canons pertaining the cases regarding the nullity of marriages, mandatory for the Ecclesial tribunals, that gives a need for analyzing the organization of the Ecclesial Courts.
