Summary/Abstract: An interesting term used in periodicals in the early 20th century century, is a "pedagogical musician". On the one hand, it reveals the links with learning in music in the Bulgarian school, and on the other - emphasizes the creative side of the activity of music teachers in the post-liberation era. Among them is Russia Kodzhamanov (1866–1933). He graduated from the Shumen Pedagogical School in 1884. He works as a music teacher first in Vidin, and then - in Ruse and Gabrovo. Through In 1894 he returned to Vidin. She teaches at the girls' high school and at the same time leads mixed choir. Kodjamanov was the first to impose the participation of female voices in the church choirs and received permission for this from the Holy Synod. He writes children's songs, choirs works, marches, solo songs, etc. Leaves interesting memories based on which we will present the complex personality of this prominent pedagogical musician.
