Summary/Abstract: The publication covers general theoretical issues of economic diplomacy as a science of international economic relations and a means of implementing foreign economic policy of the state, considers the categorical apparatus. The topical issues of some areas of economic diplomacy are analyzed, the choice of which is determined mainly by the professional experience of the author, which contributed to a comprehensive consideration of both theoretical and practical aspects. Particular attention is paid to issues related to national economic security, as well as the European integration process and monetary and financial aspects of economic diplomacy (including cooperation with the IMF and other international financial organizations). The study characterizes the foreign experience of organizing the work of economic diplomats, provides recommendations for improving the effectiveness of economic diplomacy in Ukraine. The monograph is intended for diplomats, international scientists, as well as students and students of the relevant specialization.
