Summary/Abstract: The collection includes the research studies, op-ed articles on the past and present of Ukraine, at different time published in the various scientific editions and newspapers. A series of essays are published for the first time. The focus of authors is the history of Ukraine late XIX – early XX centuries through the ideas prism of the Ukrainian intellectual environment representatives, the process of the Ukrainian ethno genesis as well as the peculiarities of the political process and the formation of political science in Ukraine at the turn of XX – XXI centuries.
