Summary/Abstract: The collection contains an analysis of the course of democratic reforms in Ukraine under the influence of external and internal factors. The consequences of the most urgent social reforms are assessed, the problems connected with the manipulative practices of the authorities, using the peculiarities of mass psychology are considered, the evolutionary changes in the values of the population of Ukraine are characterized as a factor promoting democratic transformations. The collection is based on the results of the scientific project "Democratization of political institutions and social development in Ukraine", performed at I.F. Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine due to the budget program "Support of priority areas of research for 2019".
